New steel work 2005
When we had owned Hampton for six years, it was time to deal with the main cabin and fore cabin which had both deteriorated. We took the boat up to Warwickshire Flyboat Co to have them replaced in steel.
We didn't want any A frames because this makes the lining out much more difficult having to work round them. The heavy duty gunwales prevent the boat from spreading, so A frames are not necessary.
